Nelson Robles Díaz is former Chapter 7 Trustee and the owner of Nelson Robles Díaz Law Offices P.S.C., a firm which specializes in general litigation, mainly in commercial and bankruptcy cases. Before starting his firm, he was a partner in Martínez Odell & Calabria, one of Puerto Rico’s top law firms, dealing mainly in corporate, finance, banking & securities law. Robles is interested in bankruptcy cases under Chapter 7, 11 & 13 and has an active participation in bankruptcy proceedings mostly representing the Debtor’s legal interests such as relief from automatic stay, assumption of lease contracts, disclosure statement hearings, adversary proceedings, objections to claims, preparation of Chapter 11 Plan including but not limited to the approval and confirmation of the Chapter 11 Plan.

He has also worked on several leading cases decided by the Puerto Rico Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He is a member of several bars and courts, including the Florida Bar, having the opportunity to represent some clients in bankruptcy courts in said jurisdiction when necessary.
